QBDNA Terms of Service
Effective: August 31, 2026
QBDNA is a quarterback scouting and recruiting platform operated by DNA Elite Group, LLC ("QBDNA", "we"). These terms cover the QBDNA iOS app, the QBDNA websites (joinqbdna.com and rank.joinqbdna.com), and the QBDNA Coaches Portal. By creating an account or using QBDNA, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. Questions go to colenorthrup@theqbdna.com.
Who can use QBDNA
- QBDNA is for quarterbacks and their families, and for verified college coaches. You must be at least 8 years old to have a player profile.
- If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must be aware of your account, and we collect a parent or guardian email at signup so they can reach us about it at any time. A parent or guardian can also create and manage a profile on behalf of a younger player.
- Coach accounts are for actual members of a college football staff. Applying for coach access with a false identity or affiliation is a violation of these terms and will get the account removed.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Give us accurate information. Profiles, stats, and game results you submit should be honest. QBDNA marks unverified numbers as unverified and offers a verification process backed by evidence; submitting fabricated stats or fake evidence is a violation of these terms.
- One account per person. Claim your own profile, not someone else's.
Your content
You own what you upload: photos, film, stats, schedules, academic information, and everything else. By uploading it, you give QBDNA permission to store it, display it on your profile, include it in rankings, feeds, and share cards, and show it to signed-in users and verified college coaches, because getting you seen is what QBDNA is for. Evidence you upload for verification is covered by the license you accept at upload time. You can remove your content, or your whole profile, at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how deletion works).
Copyright, and how to report a problem
Upload only what is yours to share. A photo or a video clip usually belongs to whoever shot it, so if a photographer, videographer, or film service made it, get their permission before you put it on QBDNA. Highlight film is a different case: we do not host it. You add a Hudl or YouTube link and the video plays from there, so that content stays under those services and their own rules.
If you believe something on QBDNA uses your copyrighted work without permission, tell us and we will look at it promptly. Email colenorthrup@theqbdna.com with:
- What work you own, and where it appears on QBDNA. A link or a screenshot is the fastest way.
- Your name and how to reach you.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use was not authorized by you or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
- Your signature, typed is fine.
When a notice checks out we remove or disable the content and tell the person who posted it. If you are that person and you think the removal was a mistake, reply to us and say why; if the claim is withdrawn or turns out to be wrong, we will put the content back. Accounts that repeatedly post work belonging to someone else can lose access.
Please do not use this address to report a problem that is not about copyright. Inaccurate stats, a profile that should not be public, or anything about a player's safety should go to the same address, or use REPORT THIS PROFILE in the app, which reaches us directly.
What QBDNA is, and is not
- QBDNA displays player information to the recruiting world and gives verified coaches tools to scout. We work hard to keep data accurate, including a human verification process.
- QBDNA does not promise recruiting outcomes. We cannot guarantee offers, commitments, scholarships, or attention from any program.
- QBDNA is not affiliated with the NCAA, the NFHS, or any school or athletic conference. Logos identify schools and are the property of their owners.
QBDNA+ Membership
- QBDNA+ is an optional paid membership. It includes member benefits across the app and at least one social media feature per calendar month: a post about the member on QBDNA's Instagram or X.
- To receive a social feature in a given month, your membership must begin on or before the 15th of that month. Memberships that begin after the 15th begin receiving monthly features the following month.
- Social features build on content you share. Post about your training or games and tag QBDNA, and we may repost, reshare, reuse, or create content from your posts and your QBDNA profile, including your QBDNA card. By subscribing, you grant QBDNA permission to feature and repurpose your public posts and profile content for this purpose.
- QBDNA+ is an auto-renewing subscription. In the iOS app it is billed through Apple in-app purchase; on the web it is billed through our payment processor. It renews at the end of each period until you cancel. Manage or cancel anytime from your Apple Account subscription settings (for purchases made in the app) or your account on the web. Canceling stops future renewals; your benefits continue through the end of the current paid period.
Paying for training, camps, and sessions
- QB trainers on QBDNA are independent businesses, not QBDNA employees or contractors. The trainer provides the coaching. QBDNA provides the platform, the scheduling, and the payment processing.
- Trainers set their own prices, schedules, group sizes, booking notice, and cancellation windows. Those settings are shown to you before you book.
- Families pay the trainer's listed price plus a 3% QBDNA service fee, shown before you confirm. Card processing is handled by Stripe. QBDNA never stores your card number.
- Monthly Unlimited plans are auto-renewing subscriptions billed monthly on the date you started. Cancel anytime; you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for. Partial months are not prorated.
- Refunds and cancellations. Contact your trainer first. Their cancellation policy governs a missed or cancelled session, and most issues are settled fastest directly with them. If that does not resolve it, email colenorthrup@theqbdna.com and QBDNA will review the booking and can issue a refund through the platform.
- Before disputing a charge with your bank, contact us. A chargeback on a session your QB attended can take months to resolve and may cost the trainer their payout. We would much rather sort it out with you directly.
- Trainers: you are responsible for delivering the sessions and camps families pay for through QBDNA. If a refund or chargeback results from a session you did not deliver, from cancelling on a family, or from a dispute about your services, QBDNA may reverse the related transfer, recover the amount from your future payouts, and pause payments to you while it is reviewed. Repeated disputes can end your access to payments on QBDNA.
- Trainer payouts run through Stripe and require completing Stripe's onboarding, including identity and bank details. Stripe's Connected Account Agreement applies to trainers in addition to these terms. Payout timing is set by Stripe and the platform's payout schedule.
Coaches Portal
- Coach access requires a verified school email and hand approval by the QBDNA team, and can be revoked at any time for any reason.
- Coach access is for legitimate recruiting evaluation. The recruiting information players share for coaches (academics, transcripts, family and reference contacts, reference quotes) may not be republished, resold, or shared outside your program's recruiting process.
- Contact information is provided so coaches can recruit. Using it for anything other than recruiting communication is a violation of these terms.
What is not allowed
- No harassment, bullying, or abusive contact with any player, family member, or coach through or because of QBDNA.
- No impersonating another person, player, coach, or school.
- No scraping, bulk downloading, or reselling of QBDNA data.
- No attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours.
- No uploading content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.
- No copying or duplicating QBDNA. By creating any QBDNA account (player, parent, trainer, or coach), you agree not to copy, clone, replicate, reverse engineer, or reproduce the QBDNA platform, its features, design, workflows, or data, in whole or in part, and not to use your access to QBDNA to build, launch, or assist any product or service that competes with, or could reasonably be seen as a competitor to, QBDNA.
Ending an account
You can delete your account and data at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We can suspend or remove any account that violates these terms, misrepresents itself, or puts other users at risk, and we can decline or revoke coach access at our sole discretion.
Disclaimers and limits
QBDNA is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, DNA Elite Group, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of QBDNA, including recruiting outcomes, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us to use QBDNA in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
If these terms change, the effective date above changes with it, and material changes will be announced on the website. Continuing to use QBDNA after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law rules.
