Last updated: August 12, 2026

QBDNA is a quarterback scouting and recruiting platform operated by DNA Elite Group, LLC. This policy covers the QBDNA iOS app and the QBDNA websites (joinqbdna.com and rank.joinqbdna.com). Questions go to colenorthrup@theqbdna.com.

What we collect

What we do NOT collect

How your information is used

Player profiles, stats, rankings, and share cards exist to get quarterbacks recruited. Public profile data (name, school, class year, stats, photos) is visible to other signed-in users and to college coaches. Contact details like email and phone are never shown publicly; verified college coaches are the one exception, described below.

Verified college coaches. QBDNA operates a Coaches Portal where verified college coaches scout players. Getting your information in front of these coaches is the purpose of QBDNA. In addition to public profile data, verified coaches can see the recruiting information that players and their families add for exactly that audience: academic information (GPA, test scores, NCAA eligibility, transcript), the player's phone number, parent and coach reference contact details, sealed reference quotes, and any answers or rankings a player marks as visible to coaches. A coach only gains this access after verifying a school email address and being approved by the QBDNA team by hand, and access can be revoked at any time. Scouting notes a coach writes are private to that coach; they are never shown to players, families, or other coaches.

Verified QB trainers. QBDNA also operates a Trainer Portal for the private quarterback trainers that players list on their own profiles. A verified trainer sees only the players who linked him by sending their quote link. For those players he sees the same profile information any signed-in QBDNA user can see (measurables, offers, game logs, film, and mechanics clips), plus contact information for the player and his parents (names, phone numbers, and email addresses) so he can coordinate training with the family; trainers do not receive the rest of the coach-only recruiting information described above (academics, transcripts, or coach-directed answers). Trainers write sealed scouting quotes about their own players (shown to verified college coaches, never to the player) and can send film assignments that appear as a notification on the player's account. Trainers can also post their training availability; players on that trainer's list can book sessions, and the trainer sees the player's name and the session time. Trainer access is hand-approved and can be revoked at any time.

Where it lives

QBDNA runs on Google Firebase (authentication, database, and file storage). Data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States.

Young athletes

QBDNA is built for high school quarterbacks, generally ages 14 to 20, and their families. QBDNA is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Deleting your data

You can request removal of your profile at any time from the profile editor on rank.joinqbdna.com or by emailing colenorthrup@theqbdna.com. We permanently delete your account, profile, uploaded photos, evidence videos, and follows within 48 hours.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it, and material changes will be announced on the website.
